Why A Better Solution Was Founded
At the heart of A Better Solution Insurance Services is a story of family, perseverance, and the desire to help others avoid the confusion and hardship that can come with unexpected medical expenses.
Bob Larschan and his beloved wife, Linda, were high school sweethearts who shared more than five decades of marriage before her passing in March 2025. After moving from New York to Florida in 1974, Bob and Linda built a life together on the Treasure Coast.
When Linda was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, Bob saw firsthand how overwhelming medical costs and insurance decisions could become. Their existing coverage did not fully protect them from the financial strain they faced, and that experience changed the direction of Bob’s life and career.
That personal experience became the foundation for a mission: helping others protect their health, their families, and their financial well-being.
From Personal Challenge to a Lifelong Mission
Motivated by a desire to protect his family and prevent others from facing similar hardships, Bob began researching better insurance options. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for the insurance industry. He became a licensed insurance agent, dedicated to helping others secure their health and financial well-being.
For more than 45 years, Bob has served the Treasure Coast community with integrity and compassion, specializing in individual health and life insurance as well as employee benefits and group plans. His commitment to client service helped build a legacy of trust and excellence.
Today, A Better Solution Insurance Services has grown to multiple office locations, serving clients throughout the Treasure Coast and surrounding areas. Each office is staffed by agents who carry forward Bob’s core values: delivering exceptional service, offering expert guidance, and helping individuals and businesses find peace of mind.
What began as one family’s search for better answers has become a local agency focused on real relationships, clear guidance, and solutions that fit each client’s unique needs.
