Maria Dean has lived in Indian River County for the past 8 years. She is originally from Cuba and came to the United States with the Freedom Flights in 1969 and grew up in Miami. Maria speaks, writes, and reads Spanish fluently.

Before joining the Healthcare Industry in 2022, Maria’s prior career experience was in advertising, marketing, public relations, corporate event planning, and coordinating. She handled multi-million dollar accounts for over 6 of the 32 years in the field. Due to challenges that stemmed from Covid, Maria shut down her corporate event business and joined A Better Solution Insurance Services as a licensed insurance agent.

Maria has a son she is very proud of who served in the Military. She enjoys spending time with her husband, family, her two quaker parrots, and her Brittany and Russian Terrier.

She loves staying fit, boating, traveling, and life!
